Top picture is a really good start using strong coloured paper ground to make the light delicate pastel colours really work together almost straight away, this will be a really great study when completed.
Bottom picture also really merits finishing with its lovely subtle marks and colours. Its a very slow technique using these types of marks and the picture is also very small in actual size but it still has an energy about it.
