It is that time again where you get the opportunity to nominate someone for a Gateshead learningSkills award. Categories are same as last year. You can nominate a learner you know, a tutor you know, a class group and a range of other possible nominee types. The Dawn Brown Foundation for adult learners in Gateshead

As mentioned in class, following the incredibly sad news of the death of colleague Dawn Brown,  Bensham Grove is trying to set up a new foundation to provide financial support for materials for learners who otherwise could not attend learningSkills adult education arts and crafts classes.

Final class of term!

What a cracking last session, a movie, fab flapjacks, brilliant paintings! We are back on Thursday 27th April 10am. Next term we agreed we would include technical recaps and information about artists new to you. There will be choice of either two projects (interiors and animals) or one term-long personal project. You choose which option you prefer. Meanwhile enjoy the paintings below and have a great break.
