Still-life continued/industrial landscape started
This week some of us continued with our still-life whilst others started their industrial landscape project. The group continues to grow in strength and ability. Everyone is showing real creativity and increasing technical confidence and competence. Excitement mounts every week as to what achievements will emerge by the end of each project.

Week Three: still-life project
We concluded our three-week still-life project, and although many are to be completed at home, they are already stunning paintings, notable also for the many individual discoveries we made about our ability and creativity. Well done all!

Week Two: Still-Life.
Week two of our still-life project we moved on to the application of colour and texture. Already we are seeing some powerful colour and lighting effects. Next week is our final one on still-life. Should be a good session based on the evidence below!
We also started to explore an online scrapbook called Pinterest. See opposite for our class Pinterest board. We are going to each have our own boards connected to the class board. We will add the individual boards as they are created and evaluate their usefulness at the end of the course.

Project One, week one: still life.
Our first project is still-life. Below are the fabulous line studies.
We also looked at Pinterest. we will all be having a go at starting and sharing our own Pinterest Boards related to our art interests and to aid our project work this term. Links to all boards will be added to this VLE/blog as soon as they get set up.
We are all delighted to be back together for another roller coaster ride :-)
