Week 4 Mini Project 2: Flowers

Week 3 Project One
We are nearing completion of project two. This project is helping us to decide which of the two pastel mediums to focus on using for the rest of the term. There seems to be a leaning towards the oil pastels for many. This seems to be giving the best or most interesting results on the heavy textured acrylic ground. The results below are all fantastic examples of a freedom to explore.

Week 2: project one mixed media
We moved onto step two of out first mini project. The aim is to add two types of pastel medium, oil and soft, to the two acrylic tonal paintings and learn how different media respond to a heavily textured ground. For the next project in week 4 we each choose which One more week on this project and already the results are wonderful.
