A small selection of paintings

Today we started on our final project - painting out doors. We spent the time using our iPads as digital sketchbooks, then sketching our ideas in the garden ready for starting painting out doors next week.

Meanwhile here are a couple of rather nice portraits of one of our group members, Leonard. Great fun! Plus a very good painting by Moira from our previous project on industrial urban landscapes.

Urban Landscapes Project continued

We had our final week of the industrial landscape project today. A fantastic range of paintings in different stages of completion. Next week we start our final project of the term - painting outdoors. Bring your hat, suncream, sensible shoes and something warm in case it is grey and cool!

Urban Industrial Landscape

We are really getting our artist's teeth into the project now. Such a broad range of subjects and approaches - always good to see that in a group. It means we can all learn new things from each other. Final phase next week. It's going to be an exciting session.

Industrial Landscapes and other works

We continued our industrial landscape project this week. Some very interesting paintings beginning to reveal themselves. Plus some stunning still life and other paintings. Oh and some stills of Leonard whose red apron has inspired an interest in some further portraiture work! Such a talented and adventurous group!
