Final Project, final class of 2012!

Today was our final class of 2012 - where does the time go? Below you can see our final project images plus details. We did a landscape then made a second interpretation to give a creative change to the same source image. Some very beautiful effects have been achieved in the paintings - transformative, emotive landscapes. We meet again on 24 January for the new term.

Final project: Lynn's landscapes

Tomorrow is the final class of term.  Unfortunately Lynn cannot make class but she has completed her two landscape paintings for the final project and has emailed them so we can see them here.  The type of change Lynn has decided on is seasonal - from summer to winter. The contrast is excellent as are both paintings.

Landscape project underway

This week we started our final project of the term.  A landscape subject will be interpreted in two dynamically different ways.
